Good Stuff & Bad Stuff

HI,

First the good stuff...My friends really showed how good hearted and caring they are this weekend. I had the hardest week of my life last week (I'll get into that in a minute). My shows at 41 West in Fredonia, Talty's, the Southshore were off the hook. Most of you don't go to Talty's but I must tell you this past weekend it was so crowded and amazing some people had to leave because of the applause and crowd. People were amazing that night and it was packed! It was probably the most amazing performance I ever did in Buffalo...It was that good! Fredonia was wonderful as was Angola. I also did Niagara Falls Country Club and Lancaster High School (I was pretty busy).

What I'm about to tell you I say as a testament to the true nature of friendship. Over a week ago I was the sickest I have been in 12 years. As I was getting over that my son, Griffin, who I put in treatment for drugs a year ago January, went back to using drugs and has run away in Oklahoma. We don't know where he is and he won't communicate with us. I have lost my son for now. I know God has a plan...I just have to get out of the way. Friday I was driving to a show and a girl on Oak Street made a left turn from the center lane and totaled my van! I have no way of getting my equipment to any shows because a girl rendered my van useless.

Here's where the friends come in. My buddy Shawn crammed most of my stuff in his Ford Taurus and made me play when I wanted to give up. I got out of myself and did what I do best. So many people have Griffin in their prayers and talk to me about this van crap...It really is amazing! I still don't know what I'll do for this weekend's shows...I have no van, but Love and Spirit are all around me. So there it is. That's what I'm up to.

Here are my shows for the week:

Sonoma Grille. 5010 Main St., Snyder. 204-0251. Fri.: Gregg Sansone, 8:30 p.m.

Sunset Grill. 3 O'Connell Island. Wilson. 795-9349. Sun.: Gregg Sansone, 4:00 p.m.

The Southshore Beach Club. 8966 Lakeshore Rd., Angola. 549-3026. Mon.: Gregg Sansone, 7:00 p.m.

Come out and see me if you can. All I can beg you to do is, if you pray, please do so for my son Griffin. We don't know where he is and he is so hurt inside.

Peace,

Gregg
