Top of the Falls Restaurant

Here is a map and directions to the Top of the Falls Restaurant in Niagara Falls, NY. I start Friday, June 29 at 7:00 p.m. and, with exception of a couple dates, I will be there every Friday until Labor Day. I will be playing at the Hop Inn every last Saturday of the month starting in July. I hope to see you at one of my shows!

What a Ball!

Hi,

This past week was incredible! The Buffalo River Fest was amazing! Hundreds of people and the crowd went wild! I have a new roadie and he helped out quite a bit. The best part, without a doubt, was when an awesome party goer with Downs Syndrome named George jammed with me! Go to my Yahoo Groups site by clicking HERE to see more photos!

Shanghai Red's went really well too! It was great to be on the water with so many friends and a wonderful crowd of people. This Friday I play at Cabaret on Pearl St. It is right across the street from Shea's and it is gorgeous! I'll be on the patio and I could really use some support. Also, Saturday is the first time I play Riley Street Station. It is a converted train station in East Aurora and it has to be seen to be believed. It's just off the 400 off of Maple...Please come out and support me...these two places are two of the nicest places in Western New York and you would really love it.

Here is my schedule:

Mode Urban Bistro. 520 Elmwood Ave. Thursday, June 21 @ 9:00 p.m. (every Thursday)

Cabaret. 490 Pearl St., 842-4181. Friday, June 22 @ 8:00 p.m.

Riley Street Station. East Aurora. 655-4948, Saturday, June 23 @ 9:00 p.m.

The South Shore Beach Club. 8966 Lake Shore Rd., Angola. 549-3026. Monday, June 25 @ 7:00 p.m.
(every Monday)

By the way, I start at Top of the Falls next Friday, June 29. I'll be there every Friday throughout the summer (for the most part).

Have a great week,

Gregg

Hi Everyone!

This is a photo of my son Griffin and I in Watertown this past Sunday...He's getting big! I am so happy that it is sunny and warm here in Western New York....Thank God! I need your help this week and next week. As I may have mentioned a couple weeks ago, I am starting at a couple new clubs over the upcoming weeks...This week I play at Mode Urban Bistro (this is my first Friday gig and then at the end of the month I'll play every Thursday after the Square at 9:00 there). Mode used to be Le Metro on Elmwood and it is absolutely beautiful there. It's the day before Mother's Day and I was really hoping to get a bunch of you out. I could use a good turn out. Friday I'm at the Hop Inn in South Buffalo and it's ALWAYS a blast there!

Next week I start at Whiskey Joe's on Transit. It is a brand new place and I will be there every Wednesday at 9:00!

Here's the schedule:

Drunk Girls Spilling Beer, The Buffalo Sabres and Getting Your Groove On!

The week was an exciting one to say the least. I started out by playing at the Light House in Olcott, NY on Friday. It went well with a great crowd. A good selection of music and it gave me a chance to try out some new Country stuff. The Buffalo Sabres (if you're not from Buffalo you can't understand the Cup fever we all have) won the second game in a row against the NY Rangers...pretty damn exciting.

Ah, then Saturday rolled along. I played to a great crowd at Gordon's (I'm there every last Saturday of the month). A group of girls partied and danced like savages all night in front of my keyboards. They kept smashing into my mic while a bouncer tried to insure they didn't really do any damage...No such luck... My friends Ed and Diane Strawbrich, Maria, Mellisa and Cindy, all looked on in horror as a girl smashed into my keyboards spilling a pint of beer all over my bottom keyboards! Needless to say I was pretty shaken up. I had to clean up everything and, as of this posting, I don' know if I have to spend a ton of loot to get a new board. I couldn't use it...It shorted! In any case, that is the trials of Rock and Roll...The girl was just having a good time and got carried away. It could have been worse...People could've just sat there and not had any fun...That would suck!

This week I'm taking Friday off and playing a huge Cinco de Mayo show at Bart's Cove in Dunkirk, NY. I go to see my son this Sunday so I'm pretty psyched!

Here's the skinny:

Bart's Cove Marina. 1/2 Woodrow Dr., Dunkirk. 366-8243. Saturday, May 5 @ 9:00 p.m.

Have a great week...By the way, All my chords and keyboards smell like beer! I wouke up and caught my brother licking the keys!

Finally Some Sun!

As I sit here writing this I'm looking out my window and it's wonderfully sunny! I hope those of you who live in Western New York are enjoying this. This past week I was far away from everyone. I played in the Dunkirk/Fredonia area all weekend. The gigs went well (except the Dunkirk Moose Lodge was filled with a bunch of old guys!). This week I'm back in Buffalo at Gordon's. Try to make it out if you're in the area because Gordon's really is an awesome place to party and enjoy my shows.

Here's the deal:

The Light House. 5855 Main St., Olcott. 870-6530. Friday, April, 27 @ 10:00 p.m.

Gordon's. 2263 Delaware Ave. 874-3020. Saturday, April 28 @ 10:00 p.m.

This summer will be a blast! I'll be back at the South Shore every Monday night. Every Friday night I'll be at the Top of The Falls Restaurant in Niagara Falls, NY. I will also be playing the Buffalo River Fest in mid June. Every other Sunday afternoon I'll play Bart's Cove Marina in Dunkirk. That's really a wonderful place on the water. I'll also play various bars in the Buffalo area so I'll keep you all posted.

Have a great week and I hope to see you soon!

Brrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!

For those of you who live in Western New York I think you'll agree with me that the weather is terrible! Man, it's like winter all over again! What warmed me up this past week was going to Merlins' last Thursday and seeing my great buddy, Ed Strawbrich and his band Last Exit! They kicked ass and were so tight on their tunes! I really enjoyed it. I played at the Hop Inn on Friday and Bart's on Saturday. Both were great shows. I feel a little bad that none of you came out but it went well just the same (with the exception of a blizzard Saturday night in Dunkirk).

This week I play out of town for all my gigs...Thurday in Niagara Falls, Friday in Dunkirk and Saturday in Fredonia. Check the calender on www.greggsansone.com if you want more info. I got great news today...The old Le Metro on Elmwood Ave. hired me today for a couple shows! I'll keep you posted. It's a wonderful venue. Have a great week and stay warm!!!

Easter Week

It was a nice week! Friday at Tony Rome's went well. I had a lot of friends show up and it was a blast!. Mixer's was a blast in Olean but I was pretty tired. This week I will be back at the Hop Inn in South Buffalo. If you live in the area, try to make it because it was an absolutey wonderful time last time I was there. It's tiny and the owners are great! Also, as many of you know, last summer I played on and off at Bart's Cove Marina in Dunkirk, NY. I cannot tell you how awesome it is there...Really great. This Saturday I will play their opening season party. I will play every other Sunday throughout the summer as well. I hope you guys can make it out sometime.

Peace,

Gregg

What Great Week!

Thanks to everyone for understanding the mix-up on Friday. The Hop Inn
was incredible! The owners loved it and the place was packed! It was
the first time in a long while that people actually came up to me and
thanked me for performing! I loved it and I will be playing there at
least once a month. Saturday at Gordon's was crazy because my friends,
Linda and John Knight had a huge birthday party for their daughter's
friend there. It was wonderful and wild!

Thanks to all who participated at the 13th Annual Dr. Andy's Day for
Kids. It was absolutely packed and so many people enjoyed themselves!
The doctors were nuts and dressed in hula skirts! People remarked that
it was the best I've ever sounded doing that event (it was my 7th time
doing it).I donated all my earnings and tips so I was able to donate
$370! It worked out great!

This week will be a nice one...I play at the Gaming Center at the Erie
County Fair this Thursday (and all the other Thursdays in March).
Friday I'm pretty far away at Mixer's and Saturday I'm in Dunkirk, NY.
So if you want to see me, come to the lounge at the Gaming Center.
It's wonderful and early!

Here you go:

Clubhouse at Fairgrounds Gaming & Raceway, South Park Ave.
Hamburg, (800) 237-1205. Thur. March 1 @ 5:30 p.m. (I go to 9:30 p.m.)

The Rainbow Inn. 182 E 2nd St., Dunkirk. 366-7170. Sat. March 3 @ 9:00 p.m.

I had a great week! Thank you so much to Maria, Donna, Ed and Diane and all the others that came to the Shogun Saturday night! It was a great success! I really appreciate the support! Friday was great at the Lighthouse and Valentine's Day was awesome at the Byrncliff. Lots of people and wonderful music (of course).

This week is the first time I play at the Hop Inn (I'm there Friday)...If you have a chance, it's a neat little place in South Buffalo on Hopkins. Saturday I'm at Gordon's and that is ALWAYS a great time! Sunday is the annual Dr. Andy's Day For Kids at the Buffalo Brew Pub. I play it every year. For more info go to this link... CLICK HERE

It's a wonderful cause and it benefits children in the Catholic Health System. Maybe some of you can make it (like Maria...You've been the photographer there for the past 2 or 3 years!)

Here's the schedule for the week:
